We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join our team as an Infrastructure and Deployment Specialist. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for managing infrastructure, deployments, and networking in our organization. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Docker containers, Kubernetes, and preferably Azure Container Apps.

Essential Functions

• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions in line with business requirements.
• Manage and troubleshoot deployments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Configure and maintain networking components, including firewalls, load balancers, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
• Utilize Docker containers and Kubernetes to develop and maintain scalable and reliable application deployments.
• Familiarity with Azure Container Apps, including provisioning and management.
• Create and maintain ARM (Azure Resource Manager) or Bicep templates for efficient and consistent deployment of resources.
• Investigate deployment failures, identify root causes, and implement necessary fixes to ensure successful deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in infrastructure management and deployment methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on infrastructure and deployment management.
• Deep understanding of Docker containers, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Azure Container Apps and its deployment and management processes is highly desirable.

Proficiency in writing ARM (Azure Resource Manager) or Bicep templates for infrastructure provisioning

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve deployment failures.
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
